hey there!
itz yet another day..
one that's been eventful..
school was quite different..
coz itz the post-exam period, the teacherz were busy keying in our mid-year exam resultz..
they were also printing out our result slipz i guess..
well, the day in school started off with a green talk by mr. lim, my cca teacher..
it was a talk on saving the environment..
somehow, he had difficulty getting the attention of everyone in the hall..
there were no discipline teacherz present..
at one point he threatened to switch off the air-con and the lightz.. heh..
that tactic worked for just a while..
then, everyone in the hall went back to being noisy..
the contentz of the talk i cun remember..
coz i wasn't paying attention.. hee..
then my principal came in the give away prizes and launch a link..
she then offered to buy an ice cream or a pen.. haha..
the person had to share about his recycling practicez at home..
jian yong, my ex-clazmate, or blackboy, as he is known by many, went up to stage..
he came up with some silly practicez which i knew weren't true and he was rewarded.. hah..
when i talked to him later, he said 'aiyah, free prize mah.. why not take?'
aiyoh.. he so kiasu.. heh..
the next thing that followed was much more interesting..
we were taught how to make rocketz from plastic bottlez and other materialz provided..
since it was to be done in pairz, i constructed the rocket with yiyong..
when it was finished, we launched the rocketz into the sky at the field with water.. cool..
the weather was very hot and humid..
but that didn't dampen our spiritz..
at first, our rocket didn't fly far..
i was disappointed coz other peoples' rocketz flew so far and high..
however, after repairing a crack, we launched our rocket for the second time..
it flew real far and high!
yiyong said it was one of the ten that flew the furthest.. yeah!
it was really cool watching rocketz fly!
we went back at the hall after the launch..
there, the instructorz explained the newton's three lawz..
what was taught was different from what we learnt in physicz lessonz..
but anyway, i wasn't listening and i didn't really bother lar.. hah..
when the talk ended in the hall, we still had an hour of lessonz left..
not a single teacher turned up..
and it was really a waste of time..
so i went to the chem lab..
to my horror, i discovered that the crystalz we had grown had been destroyed by someone!
all the crystalz were smashed to pieces!
and all the threadz were cut!
i remembered checking on the crystalz during recess..
they were perfectly fine and nicely shaped!
so there i was, staring into a murky solution that contained all our hard work from yesterday..
well, there was nothing shashank or i could do..
we juz had to start again.. haiz..
so we boiled solution..
but this time, we used another method..
we spotted some mistakez in our previous try and decided to use another way..
maybe it was a blessing in disguise after all.. heh..
we left the solution to stand and hoped for the best..
at 3pm, it was time to report for bb..
damian, ken and i had juz finished telting mapz for a camp expedition..
we fell in and then had to do 'pasar malam'..
im sure you are wondering what in the world iz that..
itz not a night market.. hah..
instead, itz an invented name for 'laying out camp equipment on the ground'..
we had to unpack our thingz from our haversack for the ics to check for mistakez..
and then pack them back..
packing and unpacking had to be done in juz 1min or less each.. so short a time!
onlookerz were watching us and laughing away.. aargh!
anywayz, bb ended at about 4pm..
dam, ken and i went up to the chem lab to check on the growth of the crystalz..
i found out that my crystal had grown very large in such a short time!
after that bad incident i was of coz elated lor.. heh..
after checking on the crystalz, we went to 7-eleven to buy some drinkz..
dam and ken bought shandy while i got gulp..
we chatted for some time over lotz of thingz..
then we parted wayz and headed home..
well, that has been my day in detailz..

ah! the american idol finalz are showing now on channel 5!
